I think this might be one of my favourite photos I’ve taken to date. I love how all the colours and elements come together to create a delicious looking picture of very delicious muffins.
That being said, I underestimated how much flour mixture I had to add to each muffin slot so some of them have too much muffin and too little of the nut topping. The muffin tops are to die for though.
This was my first time adding a glaze and it turned out pretty terrific. For some reason I thought zesting an orange and making a glaze with it was going to be tricky but it’s ridiculously simple and difficult to mess up. I will most likely be glazing all my muffins from now on to give it that additional sweetness to a savoury treat.
